You Can Earn 15% Commission on New Business

FUBA Workers’ Comp recognizes and appreciates your agency’s support of our workers’ compensation program.  We are pleased to announce that your agency will earn 15% commission on all new business bound with effective dates on or after July 1, 2008.  Your agency will earn 15% commission for a full 12 months on all new policies bound with effective dates from July 1, 2008 through March 31, 2009. 

Accounts as Low as $1,500 Qualify for Dividends

Since January 2008, FUBA Workers’ Comp has: lowered our payroll requirements on construction class codes; reduced our down-payment to 10%; instituted pay-by-phone and electronic payments; and rewarded our agents with a 2% renewal bonus and a 10% dividend bonus.  Now, with 15% commission on new business and lower dividend thresholds, FUBA Workers’ Comp should be your first choice.

FAIA Trade Show & Convention

As always, it was so good to see old and new friends alike at this year’s FAIA Trade Show and Convention, June 12th and 13th.  Our 1977-themed booth was groovy and agents had fun reminiscing about the events that took place that year, including the start-up of our Fund!

Jim Harrison

Please join us in welcoming Jim Harrison as the newest addition to the FUBA Family, joining the Sales & Marketing Team six months ago.  As the west coast representative,  Jim is based out of Clearwater where he was born and raised.  Since Tallahassee is home to FUBA Workers’ Comp, Jim now has a great excuse to visit his alma mater, the FSU Seminoles. After graduating with a degree in Political Science, Jim went to work for US Senator Connie Mack as the Assistant Regional Director of North Florida.  He was quickly promoted to the Central Florida Regional Director which moved him closer to home in Tampa.  After Senator Mack retired, Jim went to work for a wholesale furniture company and began his career “on the road,” with a sales territory of Florida and northeast Georgia. When Jim isn’t traveling, he keeps busy with his fiance’ Laura and their two children, Clare (11) and Jack (7), enjoying the west coast beaches, swimming, playing volleyball, golfing and spending time with family and friends. Jim is eager to get to know the agents in his territory.  “FUBA Workers’ Comp has provided me with so many tools to sell,” he says.  “This is going to be an exciting year for FUBA, and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
