FUBA Workers' Comp Offers Dividend Reward Plans

We are very pleased to announce that the Florida Citrus, Business & Industries Fund (FCBI Fund) is celebrating its 30th year providing workers’ compensation to Florida businesses. The Fund is enjoying its strongest financial position in its history, with nearly a one-to-one premium to surplus ratio. Despite the 13.5% rate reduction in 2006, the Fund concluded its most recent year with an excellent 38% loss ratio.

We thank you and all our agency force for your continued support of the Fund, which is so crucial to these outstanding results. Because we are a not-for-profit Self-Insurers Fund, policy holders benefit from the excellent underwriting results of the Fund. Our recent dividend distribution in which members received up to 11% dividends was a tremendous success, and we look forward to another dividend distribution for the 2006 – 2007 Fund Year.

Based on this success, we are pleased to offer three Dividend Reward Plans for qualifying new and existing members in the 2007 – 2008 Fund Year.

FUBA Workers' Comp marketing representatives and underwriters will be working with agents to determine what new business submissions are eligible for these plans. In addition, we will be providing agencies with more information in the near future regarding existing account eligibility for these plans.
